Conversations with kids

CA: "IA doesn't know anything"
mom: "That's not very nice, she knows just what she needs to for a 2 year old"
CA: "I know everything"
mom: "No you don't"
CA: "Yes, I do"
mom: "Even mom and dad don't know everything"
CA: "Well, I do"
mom: "No, you don't. But do you know who is the one person who knows everything?"
CA: "God!"
mom: "That's right"
CA: "See....I do know everything!"

Did I do that??

This is one of my favorite pictures of CA. I was making lasagna for friend who just had a baby and I placed the sauce on one of those pull out cutting boards. He was almost 2 and just felt the need to push the cutting board in. I wasn't sure whether to yell or laugh but somehow thought to take a picture. I told him absolutely not to move and he stayed there until I cleaned it all up. Then we had to go to the store to buy some new sauce.

Nicknames

As you all can see, we haven't published names of our kids or anyone else. I know most people checking out our site are people we know but you just never know who is out there lurking. Anyway, I am bored with writing CA, JA, IA. That's not too much fun. So I am trying to come up with nicknames for the kids so you know who I am talking about without putting their names out there in cyberspace. If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment.
On a side note, JA is walking up a storm and climbing as well as her brother and sister almost. I caught her yesterday with one foot on top of the tub trying to climb in. I will try to get a picture soon. She moves so fast it is hard to catch her.
Hope you all enjoy the new pictures. I will try to be better about updating them.

Miscellaneous

One of the few moments of peace in our house. I am sure a few minutes after this picture was taken someone errupted in tears.

CA had his first school carnival in February. He loved having his face painted and picked these out himself. IA absolutely refused to have her face painted even though she liked what she saw on her brother.

Dress Up

Anyone who knows IA, knows she is not a girly girly. Getting her into a dress is a real

accomplishment and it doesn't usually stay on very long. But every now and then she enjoys playing dress up and she occasionally will pose long enough for a picture.

Any guesses as to which costume she puts on the most??
